Published trees
Some of the trees I’ve published for others:
- John’s GOVIERs/GROVERs – researched as a result of this conversation and published on WikiTree
- Gill’s STEWARTs – original family data supplemented, and uploaded to WikiTree
- Chris’ PARKHILLs & Camerons – research undertaken for Chris into her Irish and Scottish forebears and published on RootsWeb Freepages using TMG and Second Site
- Graingers of Worcester – research for Peter, published using TMG and Second Site
- Robert’s McCUTCHEONs – researched by Robert, published on RootsWeb Freepages from a FTM database via TMG
- Rita’s CHANDLERs – researched by Rita, some of the key individuals published on RootsWeb Freepages using TMG and Second Site
Where some of my own data may be found online:
- LornaHen – my personal domain pages with a large number of family trees, and individual pages for some highlighted individuals
- LornaHenderson – a WorldConnect database (free) of basic BDM info for all the dead rellies and those connected to them. Reasonably regularly updated
- LornaPotential – ditto but for potentially related families researched
- MyHeritage – depending on the state of my subscription, the site may contain a snapshot of the LornaHenderson BDM data above, plus assorted other trees of interest, eg DAWEs of Sth West Devon, some of the Borders RUNCIMAN trees, RICHARDSONs of Morebattle ++. Mostly used for the SmartMatching process this site offers
- WeRelate – a free collaborative genealogy wiki (no pages allowed for living people). I’m gradually adding branches of my tree here so others can contribute. Love the pre-load validation of the gedcom and ability to merge duplicates to create a world tree view, hopefully well sourced
- WikiTree – another free collaborative genealogy world tree, but this one can include the living, and therefore has tight controls and flexibility on who can access/view data – with great DNA family links. A growing collection of my data is there
- FamNet – New Zealand based family trees plus other data sources – the NZ component of my family trees has been uploaded here, and linked to some of the matching Taranaki trees
- OneGreatFamily – one of the earlier one world trees, subscription site where you can upload gedcoms which automatically are merged with your and others data. I’ve given up on this one, kept not being able to access my data, and much prefer the merge only with permission style, and cost (free) of WikiTree.
